5 Amaze Farmer’s Markets in LA (and how to get there)


20160925_110820Eating fresh is always in season and with these local farmer’s markets you won’t miss out on all of the fresh goodness. We’ve rounded up some local spots where you can get your fix of fresh produce!  Let’s take a look at some farmer’s markets where you can get more bang for your buck and reap the health benefits too.


South Pasadena- Every Thursday Rain or Shine boasts the South Pasadena Farmer’s Market. Located off the Gold Line South Pasadena Station you can find local produce every Thursday from 4 – 7pm off of Meridian Ave. and El Centro St., South Pasadena


Monrovia- Old Town Monrovia and it’s small town charm bring you locally grown produce every Friday night. With music, entertainment and lots of vendors this spot is a must for locals and visitors. Located a mile from the Gold Line Monrovia Station. Old Town Monrovia- Myrtle St.


Arts District- Not only does this chic little spot a breeding spot for local hipsters but you can also buy fresh produce every Saturday from 10-4 pm located off the Gold Line Little Tokyo Station. Don’t forget your tote bags! Traction and E. 3rd St.

Santa Monica- Surf, Sun, and Fresh Produce every Saturday from 8-1 pm at Arizona Ave. Located close to the Santa Monica Expo Line Station. Arizona and between 2nd and 4th



Downtown LA- In the historic core  every sunday you can pick up locally grown produce. Along with other locally and naturally made items. Every Sunday from 10-2pm. Located right off Pershing Square Station on W. 5th St. DTLA

Pasadena- Art, Clothing, and Fine Dining comes to mind when thinking of Old Town Pasadena. Now there is also a farmers market that brings local vendors together every Sunday from 9am-2pm. Located off the Gold Line Del Mar Station at E. Holly St. Pasadena
